What is Government TV?Gov't TV

It's your connection to your public officials and the issues that face your community.  By providing LIVE and re-cablecast coverage of board, commission, and committee meetings, Government TV allows you to witness first-hand the proceedings that shape the decisions that influence your quality of life.

Government TV is funded in-part through franchise fees collected from local cable companies in exchange for use of public right-of-ways.  All municipalities in Northwest Lower Michigan are welcome to participate.  Government TV is currently utilized by these jurisdictions:

  • Charter Township of Garfield
  • City of Traverse City
  • East Bay Charter Township
  • Elmwood Charter Township
